Airflo Bass/Muskie
Warm-water fly fishing is generally a game of casting large, air resistant flies into tight spots. Designed by Pat Ehlers, (a man who makes his living fishing for, bass, pike, and muskie) the new Airflo Ridge Bass/Muskie fly line offers a new level of accuracy, line control, and distance to the warm water fisherman. The Airflo Ridge Bass/Muskie line features a compact head designed to load the rod quickly and to turn over big, nasty flies. It has welded loops on both ends for ease in attaching both leaders and backing and the line size is welded into the front loop for ease of identification. A color change in the line identifies the head length. The unique taper of the Ridge Bass/Muskie is designed to sustain line speed all the way though the cast improving accuracy and lessening the effects of cross or head wind. The rear taper of the line has been designed to help stabilize the line on longer casts and a ridged construction reduces casting friction and also expands the range of temperatures the line will perform in. Airflo Forty Plus Sniper Line
To help people catch more fish Airflo has developed a new aggressive short head Striper line. The Sniper line is based on a shorter version of our 40+ line with its easy casting condensed head and thick tip diameter. The Sniper has a Dual HeaFFDd Design which allows the line to perform as well for lesser casters as it does for advanced casters. Lesser casters can cast the line with only the front 15 feet of line out the rod tip while the expert will aerialize the entire head to achieve maximum distance. They come in floating, intermediate sink, type 3, and type 7 sink. Included in the Sniper family is a new “Custom Cut” line, made with a level 35 foot head of 14 grain per foot sink tip material blending into an intermediate running line. Floating and intermediate lines are looped both front and back, the Sink 3, 7 and CC are looped in the back only.
Airflo Sewin Caster Lines
Developed over the last 3 years by sea trout expert Illtyd Griffiths, Airflo’s SewinCaster range of lines offers the fly fisher an effective solution to any situation that may be encountered when pursuing the ‘Silver Prince’. The 3 density compensated sink tips not only allow the fly to be fished at a specific depth across a range of river conditions but importantly make a striking path to the fly, crucial for effective hooking of Sea Trout. Casting and mending are made easy due to the floating belly and running line of these weight forward lines. Whilst developed primarily for Sea Trout Fishing SewinCaster lines also perform well as single hand salmon lines and freshwater fishing applications.
