The Hardy Marquis reel has been one of the most sought after reels for years. Since Hardy stopped producing them they have been inundated with requests for its reinstatement. Hardy have reproduced the Marquis reel in three salmon sizes, built to the original design. The new reels and spools are fully interchangeable with all the originals to cater for the di-hard Hardy fan. Over the years, a frame gets dropped, buckled or broken. You still have the spools and the lines that you love but without a new reel frame, they're useless. Not now. You're back in business. The new reels are all manufactured from high-grade aluminium with the polished silver rim style that everyone agrees is the Marquis at its best. This isn't quite the original Marquis though. Because they can't resist improving things, so its slightly redesigned the internal cam to give an increased range to the click-check.
