Whether it has been light line zig fishing where I have caught carp up to forty six pounds on them (my personal best common) a situation where a responsive tip-section is a must, through to brutal hit and hold tactics in heavy weed, I have tested them fully. The perfect mix of tapers throughout the blank allows these rods to cope with everything you will ever ask of them. The blanks are very lightweight and easily handled for long periods, in the lighter test curves they are perfect for floaters, stalking and fishing small pits and the bigger test curves will tackle distances in excess of 120 yards and still play a lively carp in front of the net cord without fear of pulling the hook. I have put a lot of time and effort into the development of these rods and I am now totally confident that they are the perfect carp fishing tool. Distance casting and accuracy is all about the recovery speed of the blank (how quickly it returns to a straight position) to minimise friction, but this is often found at a compromise to the playing action. Due to the sheer quality of the carbon we have used in these blanks there has been no compromise of either aspect, the rods will cast like a dream and still be totally responsive during the fight, a perfect combination."
